Sac's Place | Authentic Italian Restaurant in Astoria
Where Family Recipes Still Set the Table
Family, tradition, and honest cooking have shaped this place since the beginning. Our family comes from Orsogna, a small town in Abruzzo, and we were born and raised in Astoria, where our mother, Maddalena, filled the house with laughter and family dinners. She shared lessons learned in our Nonna’s kitchen, where simple ingredients, handmade pasta, homemade dough, garden produce, and tomato sauce made daily were part of everyday life. Tomato sauce was made fresh daily, another simple tradition that shaped the way our family cooked.
That spirit continues at Sac’s Place, where Italian food in Astoria stays connected to those family roots. Handmade pasta and pizza carry the tradition forward, while a warm, inviting setting gives family and friends a place to gather.
